SixSigma DMAIC for Reducing Delivery Time of Bug Fixes

This was a very interesting project I developed in Softtek for EMC. The goal was to reduce the average amount of time we spent in fixing defects.

After all the DMAIC process one of the key improvements was to create a Knowledge Database with all the information of previously fixed bugs in order to identify patterns and similar issues, so in turn we could evaluate to spent some time creating automated scripts for helping in the solution of the issues, or basically, use the same solution we used in previous defects.

The complete exercise of reviewing where in the solution process we spent more time gave us this and other clues of what steps in the process to eliminate or reduce in order to deliver our fixes quickly.

Sorry, I can't upload more details about this particular DMAIC implementation, but I will upload some useful DMAIC and other Six Sigma processes soon. Meanwhile find valuable information here.
